Bin Washing – Where does the dirty water go?

Bin Washing – Where does the dirty water go?

Waste water from bin cleaning

To prevent foul water ending up in surface water drains, our bin-washing trucks are equipped with bin lifts that invert the bins during the cleaning process. This means that dirty water coming from the internal surfaces of the bins is captured, and later disposed of into a foul water sewer.

Why is this important? We take environmental issues very seriously at Hydro Wash. In all our operations we seek solutions that demonstrate best practice and minimise environmental impact. Our bin-washing process is an example of this. Capturing contaminated water for safe disposal helps protect the environment. It also means we can leave our customers sites clean and tidy after we’ve finished.

We’re proud to offer the UK’s leading Commercial Bin Washing Service!
